Genesis Student Information System
NJIEP is a new web-based special education platform for New Jersey school districts. It manages the full lifecycle — referral, evaluation, eligibility, IEP and 504 development, placement and LRE, annual review, reevaluation, and exit — on NJDOE-standardized forms and in full alignment with N.J.A.C. 6A:14, IDEA, and P.L. 2025, c.107. Structured PLAAFPs, SMART goals, measurable progress monitoring, and documented implementation fidelity are built in, alongside a parent portal that provides draft IEPs before meetings, plain-language progress data, translated communications, and one official record of every conversation. Coming to New Jersey school districts in 2027–28.
